Put one foot in front of the other

Molly took a few steps on her own tonight! She has been walking about 2 or 3 steps between people for about a week, but tonight she stood up from her chair and walked right to the rocking chair. She was so excited that she crawled back, sat down, stood up, and did it again (and again and again). Go Molly!

And just because they are cute, here are two more.

A little late to the party.

Wow. Google Reader.

I realize most of you have been using it already, but I just started yesterday. It's such a fabulous way to read all the blogs you are all writing! If you are even slower than me, give it a try.

Lake Weekend 2008

We spent the past four days visiting with friends on Spofford Lake in New Hampshire. We had perfect weather and spent some time swimming, boating, kayaking, and a tiny bit of fishing. Nancy and Jeff, thanks for a great weekend! See you next year!

We went to the Reading Phillies tonight and had the buffet dinner on the deck - thanks Rose, Grammom, and Poppy!

Millions of peaches, peaches for me.

Ian, Molly and I went to Ontelaunee Orchards and picked just about 40 pounds of peaches yesterday. That means peach cobbler for dessert. It also means messy, juicy peaches for a snack.

Knoebels

We went to Knoebels today - the weather was perfect for a day outside. Ian had so much fun on all of the rides!

Setting up the Mammoth

Aunt Katie was here for a visit today and we decided to put together the tent (the Eddie Bauer Mammoth) she gave us for Christmas a few years ago. Before Ian and Molly were part of the family we used to go camping a lot. We haven't had a chance to go since before Ian was born but we are making plans to go next summer. This tent will definitely be big enough for the 4 of us! I guess we must be getting excited about it because we left the tent together so Brian can seal the seams sometime this week.
