Christmas morning

Cookies and Milk

A surprise visit!

Just as we were finishing up dinner tonight, we saw some headlights in our driveway. My cousin Joe, his wife Rose, and their son Knute were here with Christmas gifts! Ian was excited to open up a very special gift - a plate for leaving cookies for Santa. It came with a marker so he can write Santa a message right on the plate! He's already been practicing. He also got some chocolate and they both got stockings full of goodies. Molly opened up a book with her picture in it and a photo album full of pictures of our family. What a special surprise.
Thanks Joe, Rose, and Knute - you made our night!

Friday night

We had our weekly Friday night dinner at the Hart house tonight. As usual, a friendly game of poker took place.

Ian's Christmas Program

This morning we all went to Ian's 3 year old preschool Christmas program. He did a great job singing on stage! All 4 of his grandparents were there to see him perform. After the children were finished singing, Molly took a turn on stage. We enjoyed some Christmas cookies and juice and Ian made a gingerbread house. It was a great morning!

O Christmas Tree

Visit with Santa

Ian and Molly got a chance to visit with Santa today after Ian was finished with preschool. Ian told Santa he wants a Leapster for Christmas and Santa gave them each a coloring book.

Letters from Santa Claus

When we picked up yesterday's mail after church this morning, there were two very special envelopes with the Christmas cards, catalogs, and bills. Ian and Molly each got their very own letter from Santa Claus!

Happy Thanksgiving!

We spent the day with family and had lots of wonderful food to eat. We had dinner at the Weisser house and then moved on to the Lubenow's for our 2nd turkey meal.






















And Molly is 17 months old today! She made it through the day without a nap, so her pictures are in her crib after she fell asleep.

Fire Company Field Trip

Ian's preschool class went on their first field trip today. He got to watch a short movie about fire safety and see the fire engines at the Stonersville Fire Company.
